Nurse Educator Michelle Kosik – Chatham

Michelle Kosik graduated from St. Clair College in 2002 as a Registered Nurse.

Previously, she worked Full time at Metropolitan Hospital in Windsor on a Respiratory Care Unit.

Now she works as a Nurse Educator for the Chatham-Kent Family Health Team; she started in this new role in July 2011.

She recently earned a certificate from the University of Waterloo in Pharmacy Management of Oral Anti-coagulation Therapy. Together with Pharmacist Susan Beth Martin she worked to establish an INR (International Normalized Ratio) Clinic for the management of patients on warfarin.

She will also be assisting our rostered patients with Smoking Cessation in the weeks ahead with colleague Susan Beth.
