Social Worker Diane Lozon – Chatham

Diane Lozon is a life-long resident of Chatham-Kent. After graduating from the Bachelor of Social Work program at the University of Windsor in 1989, Diane's career path began at the Lester B. Pearson Centre as a Child and Family Therapist. She then furthered her education with a Master's of Social Work and in 1995, accepted a position in community and medical social work. She also worked with the Erie St. Clair Community Care Access Centre and as an independent contractor for 14 years. Diane has contributed her social work skills in two hospitals: first by providing crisis assessments for children and youth at Hôtel-Dieu Grace in the emergency department (Regional Children's Centre) and at the London Health Sciences Centre in the Pediatric Critical Care Unit.

In 2007 Diane joined Family Service Kent as the Clinical Program Manager, and later took on the additional role of community support services manager for the Community Home-Support Assisting People Program (CHAP) . In addition to her management position, Diane provides front-line counseling as a member of the Chatham-Kent Family Health Team.

In May 2011, Diane completed a Master's Certificate in Health Care Managment at York University, Schulich School of Business. She is currently an appointed member of the ESC Primary Health Care Task Group Steering Committee.
