Living with a Chronic Disease and/or Chronic Pain sometimes involves living a different life. Several Health Professionals will show persons who suffer from the following illnesses strategies for good health:

Chronic Disease Self –Management
Weekly 2.5 hour group classes for 6 weeks with focus on strategies to manage chronic disease:
- Management of Stress, Pain, Fatigue, Emotions
- Healthy eating and exercise
- Communicating with health team
- Medication Use
- Relaxation and Breathing Techniques
- Use of Action Plans
Chronic Pain Self –Management
Weekly 2.5 hour group classes for 6 weeks with focus on strategies to manage chronic pain:
- Management of Stress, Anger, Fatigue, Depression, Frustration related to Chronic Pain
- Exercise for maintaining and improving strength, balance and flexibility and endurance
- Pain medications, treatment and relaxation techniques
